'Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. '

'The cottage was clean, well appointed and made for a pleasant stay. It is in the heart of the village with food and coffee shops very close by, and just a short walk to the local pub. The beach is 10 minutes walk away, and Gullane is a lovely spot to explore from. '

'This is a lovely place to stay. It has everything you need . We stayed here as we were going to a concert in Murrayfiels stadium and the location was perfect. The cottage was clean and location beautiful. Jack left a lovely bottle of wine and a welcome note. Will be coming back to this beautiful place Thanks '

'Very cosy and comfortable property. Great kitchen and appliances. The courtyard garden is a suntrap! Very close to the beach and a short walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. I would definitely stay again. '

'The house is old from the outside but inside it's roomy and modern. With double bedrooms and double bathrooms even a double pair (or kids with own needs) can be accomodated. There are even busstops around the corner (<1 minute walk) though not that frequent. We were glad to have a car with us, enjoying our own parking spot at the house. The garden is huge, there is always a place to hide from the Scottish sun ;-) Be aware that the rough Scottisch landscape is a bit further away (> 2 hour...

"Booked a long weekend for 6 people. Separate 2-person rooms with breakfast. We were able to temporarily park our luggage upon arrival before checking in, which was very nice. We were greeted politely at check-in. The hotel room was equipped with various amenities, a good bed with clean bedding. Large TV with play station. Well maintained and clean. Breakfast was neat, with various options, but mainly focused on the English breakfast. We received compensation after the breakfast was incomplete, neatly arranged! Close to all the beautiful things to see in Edinburgh, public transport nearby. The only disadvantage was the very noisy 6-sisters, loud music."
