'We are almost lost for words, what a fantastic weekend this was. The cabin itself is an absolute experience, you feel like you've stepped back in time and its awesome. There's something about falling asleep in complete silence with a crackling fire that feels amazing. The property offers so much, we enjoyed the trails, the animals and the pickleball court. And we can't say enough about our hosts. We love road trips and we've stayed in lots of places, but we've never had opportunity to chat so...

'This cabin was everything we anticipated and more. It is a beautifully handcrafted cabin. We enjoyed our visit and our conversations with the owner. He has two beautiful labor doodles and they were very welcoming. Lol. We had a blast and will be back. The craftsmanship was absolutely stunning. We were provided wood for the fire-pit and we sat out there by it for hours. It was gorgeous and very comfy. '

'We loved our stay! The hosts were so welcoming and hospitable. Our whole stay was serene, with views that filled your spirit with calm. Especially loved relaxing on the porch, while watching the gorgeous river scenery. The amenities were spot on. Especially appreciated the gas filled flat top griddle where we grilled most of our meals, from homemade sausage and eggs for breakfast, to our t-bone steaks dinner. A charcoal grill in also available. Loved our visit!'

'I absolutely loved staying here, will definitely rebook again. When I find my myself again in the Charlotte area. Very quiet and reserved, the vibe gives; if you wanted to finish writing a book this is where I would come. It's very outdoors; so make sure you have 4WD to make it up the hill. We really didn't know how to work the thermometer in the room for heat but it was fine. Just a heads up the mini doesn't have a freezer, lol I wish I knew that before buying ice cream.
