« The location is amazing for a getway in the nature! Waking up there was reconfortabe and so relaxing. »

« Just needed a quick overnight so we didn't really get to enjoy the property. Just needed a clean secluded quiet place and the guest house easily provided all the above. Thanks for the nice but brief stay! I'm sure this is a great base for activities around the area as well as checking out the farm! »

« My kids and I had the BEST time staying in this adorable farmhouse. We spent time outside on the porch swing and chair, the fire pit out back, and playing the games provided by the family. We didn't touch our electronic devices once! Our favorite part was eating breakfast every morning at the kitchen table and looking out the window at the scenery. The fruit and snacks provided by the family from their farm was the perfect touch. We will definitely be back here again, hopefully in the fall! WELL...

« Beautiful property. Farmhouse reminded me of my grandparents 1890's farmhouse. I enjoyed the historical, mountainous feel of the home and location. It is nice staying at a location that isn't the cookie cutter style that has become the norm. »

« Well maintained farm house is the perfect place to unplug. We hiked and drove back roads in Pendleton county.The lists of things to do, hand drawn maps, and lists of restaurants were handy. »

« We throughly enjoyed our stay at this sweet home! We were in town for a concert at the Caverns and although we didn’t spend much time at the home, we left wanting more! The house was perfect for 3 couples and the 1 bathroom wasn’t really an issue for us. Our only draw back, was that there was no central air conditioning, but the fans provided in the home helped circulate the cool air from the wall unit in the kitchen. « The old Mills farm is like going home. The vast backyard invites you to experience the night sky and all it’s wonders. The patio is perfect for quiet evenings by a fire or for morning sunrise yoga, and the lounge chairs provide a place to relax and get some sun. « This was a clean, cozy space for our family of five to stop overnight. Tim greeted us upon arrival and got us oriented to some of the old-farmhouse idiosyncracies (mostly location of light switches). We were delighted by his and Mary’s thoughtfulness — they even provided milk, eggs and bread for the next morning. It was reassuring to know they were right next door if we needed anything, but everything in the house functioned well and we were very comfortable. »
