There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough! »

« This is a delightful well equipped property which proved cosy and comfortable , much needed in a week of poor weather. The upstairs bedroom is far superior to the downstairs, as is the upstairs bathroom but twin beds don’t suit, and we weren’t sure if they were zip and link It would be really great if they were! We appreciated decent number of dishwasher and laundry tablets, provisions for the dog, and a quirky welcome pack. Thank you. »

« We had a wonderful stay at this charming and unique coach house. Everything was just wonderful, all the MOD cons, wonderful, shower and comfortable beds not to mention cozy fireplace. Great location for day trips and nice and quiet in the evenings. Beautiful grounds to wander around. Fantastic communication with the host. « Huggins Cottage is one of the loveliest places we've stayed, and by far the best cared for. We were made to feel welcome every step of the way, from booking to leaving. Very thoughtfully equipped kitchen, and house generally, with very comfortable beds. Bookshelves included a wealth of information about the area. « Such a delightful stay -cosy, exceptionally clean cottage with everything we needed. Lovely quite location although you are unable to work anywhere due to the roads but lovely pubs in just a short drive away. The welcome hamper was gorgeous abs such a lovely surprise! »

« The cabin was such a special place with the river right at the edge of the garden. We sat out and enjoyed dinner on the platform just next to the water and lit a small fire in the fire pit under the stars. The property was ideal for myself and my two young children (6 and 8, all of us sharing the one room) but would also be great for a couple looking for a getaway in a convenient location for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. »

« A lovely stay at Bucknell Station Cottage, just perfect for us (2 adults and 2 children). The kids loved staying in their room together and the wooden train set was a nice touch, going well with looking out the window as the big trains rolled past! Very well located for day trips in and around Shropshire as well as over the nearby border in to lovely Wales. Home made flapjacks greeting us on arrival were very well received! « The property is spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The location is great for walking into town and along the riverfront. We found lots of locals helpful and friendly and the coffee shops were fine. The White Lion pub across the street was especially pleasant and the food good. »

« Chancery Cottage was the perfect place to stay in Hay on Wye for our family (2 adults and an infant). The property was clean, well-appointed, centrally located, and cozy. The designated parking spot was much appreciated and the Wi-Fi was fantastic. Everything about the cottage made our vacation as easy and relaxing as possible! »

« Property fine though bathroom bin not been emptied, the owners two daschunds below us did not stop yapping and so we cut our stay short and came home a day early. NOT A PEACEFUL GETAWAY. »
