'Hal, our host, was helpful and thoughtful. We were in town to visit relatives in Tulare, and this home was the perfect place for us to stay. I loved how the home felt cozy yet spacious—and that it was pet friendly (since we brought my brother’s pup). Our family invited us to the roller rink, and the house is only a few mins away, so that was nice. Would totally recommend for families or friends. '

'This is the second time we come to this peaceful house. And we plan to continue coming back in the future when we visit Kings Canyon National Park. The house is clean, comfortable and very quiet. We enjoyed spending time in the backyard playing board games at the end of our hikes. In the morning we enjoyed a cup of coffee while listening to the birds. 'This is a country home, pure and simple- it’s an hour away from groceries and there’s stuff in the yard. But that’s the magic of this place…quiet, surrounded by nature (including Forest Service- and National parkland, bright stars, and a great place to throw a log in the stove and hang. The kitchen is well equipped (induction stove if you’re bringing an extra large pot for example), and the host was responsive and friendly. We’d definitely stay there again.'
