« The begin with the owners were not around during the check-in process (I believe they had a family emergency) but we did finally find someone to get us access. The cabin was full of cobwebs and dead bugs everywhere (this is expected somewhat since it's a cabin but this was more than just a few). Overall the cabin was in pretty good shape which was the biggest thing for us. The entire grounds were NOTHING like the photos (old photos) and needed to be mowed / weeded very badly. « Very quaint comfortable place . I stayed in one of the cabins , not the main house. Adorable! Full poster bed , hot tub jacuzzi in the room , full bathroom . Toiletries provided. Gazebo outside and tables and chairs outside. Easy walking to the Hubble telescope replica and Mom’s kitchen - but not open on Sun or Mon and close early . Very friendly host , very clean place . « We really enjoyed staying here. We had a family get together at the Ozarks State Park and needed to accommodate a family member with a wheelchair that could not camp. It worked great for him and us! Beautiful secluded location in the woods. If you’re lucky the neighbors dog (Coco) will come by and say hi. She is so sweet! Lots of critters out at night by the lake. It was a lot of fun lotto the frogs. We saw a snapping turtle during our stay too! »
