« The views, the serenity and quietness of the area, the simplicity of the home, and the amenities like hottub and firepit all stood out. The yard is very beautifully landscaped and maintained. The ease of access right off a main road was nice too, as we did venture to explore other areas which were off the beaten path on lengthy gravel roads. « THIS was exactly what my husband & I needed! The peace & quiet was cathartic to both of us. We LOVED the cabin & it was indeed a Fortress of Solitude in the most beautiful way! We were truly able to disconnect from our hectic jobs & responsibilities & simply BE. And yet, we ate dinner Wed night with nearby family members at the Homestead Steakhouse, and it was wonderful-both the company & the food. We will definitely return; hopefully for longer stays.
