'Yes, it's one of the few hotels on mont saint michel and obviously you are paying extra for that location. I booked this room so I could stay on the island in the evening and early morning without the crowds, which worked great. I did not expect much else since the whole place is full of crappy souvenir shops and low effort restaurants. It makes sense because most people visit once in their life so there is no expectation of repeat customers anyway, and the same goes for hotels so I expected it...

Christophe warmly greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our thoughtfully prepared room, which included phone chargers and cold drinking water. He gave us some excellent recommendations about the local area. Christophe prepared a delicious and generous breakfast for us in the morning. We felt right at home at his accommodation! Christophe was a fantastic host and we will recommend this place to anyone going to Mont St Michel. '
