« The park, the trails, and the sights are beautiful and well worth a visit. The lodge and facilities are not. The lack of state funding for the property shows, which is unfortunate and sad. The good: The sheets, towels, and bed were clean and comfortable. At least there’s that. « It was the perfect place for us to be. The view was excellent at sunrise. A few longhorn cattle visited us late one evening. We had our privacy from other guests, too. The cabin was furnished with everything we needed to be comfortable. Very good use of every space! Would highly recommend a stay, especially if you plan to attend the musical “Texas” which is performed down in Palo Duro Canyon in the summer months. Outstanding performance and extra special as the play is celebrating its 60th year...

« This was a great stop for us on our road trip with our dog. Check-in/out was very easy, the space was just as pictured and described, and communication with the host(s) was clear and friendly. We only stayed for one-night, but we would definitely consider for longer stays in the future! »
