« Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx »

« Le cottage est confortable et bien équipé. Il est spacieux pour une famille de 4 personnes. Situé à proximité de nombreux sites touristiques, c'est un endroit idéal pour se fixer et se réveiller au son des vagues et des mouettes (et sous le soleil !). Merci »

« This property was exactly as expected and really good value. The location is lovely and really convenient for hiking, mountain biking and all the area has to offer. Ballater is very close (less than 10 min cycle). Interior is exactly as in the photos. Plenty of space for boots, coats etc. Comfortable beds with lovely linen. »

« for us it was a relaxing environment in a very busy week. Our participation in the Royal Deeside golf week could not be better than from this beautiful house. in the house everything is present and clean. The access road to the house can be a problem for low cars, in our case it resulted in a flat tire due to the loose stones. »

« We had already expected a lot from the advertisement. But seeing the house was overwhelming. We spent an unforgettable week as a group of seven friends in a luxurious house in a beautiful setting.the only regret was that we were not able to take full advantage of the many facilities offered by the estate, such as the walled garden. »

« The flat was lovely, I'd happily stay again, but be warned when booking, you're actually booking through Expedia, then VRBO< and then finally cottages dot com, so the payment was difficult. It should say this on the listing, I'd just book via cottages dot com as it's easier. »

« Very good location with a lot of good-quality equipment. Owners give a lot of advices for shopping and knowing the area. Very good spot to travel around (Cairgorms, Carthes Castle, Aberdeenshire...). Very quiet .. the only neighbours who made noises were the sheeps :-). We spent a wonderful week there. »

« We spent 3 nights at this wonderful property where we were able to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. The guys got in a golf game and we got picture of Puffins! The property is lovely and very well outfitted for guests. Nice to be by the water. »

« We’ve had a lovely relaxing weekend at Myrtle Cottage, Views are spectacular & cottage has everything you need. Perfect secure back garden for our dog & a lovely seating area out front where you can relax & watch the waves crashing in absolutely beautiful !! »

« Cottage is in a lovely quiet location and is very well equipped- beds are very coverage too. I didn’t have much communication from the hosts as didn’t need it- only downside was getting told off for putting the radiators on. I couldn’t get the towels dry overnight for a shower the next day- weather was too wet to hand them out and they wouldn’t dry in the cottage. »

« Clean modern apartment. Parking at the back was great though best for smaller cars. Location an easy walk of union Square and city centre. We didn't get the check-in instructions but a quick phone call and this was easily sorted. Good customer service. The apartment was compact but warm and comfortable. It is a traditional building with single glazing so not much sound insulation in case this is something that bothers you. Good value. »
