'De overnachting was goed. Eerste avond vreselijk slecht ges;apen door een hoop lawaai, veel dronken mensen die voor ons open raam langs liepen. Dit hebben wij gemeld bij het personeel, we kregen daarna gelijk een kamer aand de achterkant van het hotel en geslapen als roosjes.'

'The accommodation is “Airb&b style”, so no service on site. However when I had a problem with access I got immediate attention on the phone. The room was reasonably clean, bedlinen and towels spotless. Shower, hot water etc. working fine, shower gel supplied, kettle available with plenty of tea and coffee. 'This property is more like an Air BnB than a hotel. I was emailed the front door entrance code and the room key was in the room. The entrance and hallway were very well decorated with clean (possible new) carpets. It smelled fresh. The room was equally as clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated. 'The frontage of this stunning hotel hides the incredible style & comfort inside. It’s absolute brilliant. Gorgeous crisp white high quality bed linen, excellent bathroom /shower/ fluffy white towels, very comfy bed. Every single fixture & fitting is the highest standard. Dinner was extremely good & all the staff were superb. '

'Simple but affordable hotel. Half a mile or so from city center. Good breakfast. Like most of these older buildings the rooms are not sound-insulated so if you have noisy neighbours that might keep you awake. TV, coffee maker, overall a good stay.'

'Our hostess was engaging and kind, giving helpful ideas for where to eat and what to do during our short stay. Very family-friendly property with bright and colorful decor. 'Handy for Rothsey, and a lovely old building. My room was facing the harbour and an interesting view. Tired in places, chair was very wobbly, and doors etc as you would expect in a property of this age. However, the retro-fitted en-suite was good, and nice and clean. Felt like carpet had not been hovered. The Scottish breakfast was nice and not too overwhelming. Just right. The guys running the place were really friendly and polite.'

'Very well appointed B&B with very hospitable hosts Drew and Alison. Bit of a trek into Dunoon but very picturesque. Breakfast is highly recommended and sets you up for the day!'
