Absolutely perfect cabin!! More than enough beds to fit our fairly large group. The house came stocked with just about anything we needed. We just brought the food and good laughs. Very responsive host. Couldn't have askes for a better weekend. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet on the Lake

Lake Lanier SC is so beautiful and peaceful. Having kids, we wanted to make sure we stayed at a place that was a bit calmer if they wanted to venture out on the lake. This was perfect. The house was clean, stocked with a ton of paddleboards and kayaks to go around. The kids spent all the time on the lake and playing board games in the basement room. Wonderful coffee drinking, sunrise watching porch overlooking the lake. Great long weekend getaway! Only one thing to note as you prepare for your stay...this cabin comes with a steep and gravel driveway. Definitely will stay here again!

Fall Family Mountain Lake Birthdays

Comfortable home for 10 family members with private view of Lake Lanier. House sits isolated in the trees. Swimming, fishing and Kayaking off a small dock. Hiking on the Palmetto Trail less then a mile away. Shops in Landrum and Tryon. IGA around the corner made eating in a well equipped kitchen. Outside grill and gas fire pit. Firm beds and 3 bathrooms. The driveway was managed after filling in dips. The stairs to the water are not walkable for seniors.

Beautiful Lake

If you’re looking for a clear and clean lake with awesome swimming and lake activities, this lake hit all those marks! The cabin was beautiful and has loads of potential, but definitely needed some cleaning and updating as far as kitchen supplies/utensils, mattresses, bedding, towels, faucets, etc. We definitely had some issues during our stay but the management company was quick to resolve what they could for us. The driveway was definitely challenging going up and leaving the property! I’m glad we had a SUV for sure. The multiple steps down to the dock was definitely a work out. We felt it the next morning climbing up and down the stairs. Once you get down to the dock and water it’s definitely worth it but don’t forget your sunscreen and highly recommend taking a cooler down there so you don’t have to go back-and-forth for drinks lol. Overall we had a nice stay, but we probably will opt to rent another Lakehouse our next trip.

Nice cabin in quaint little town.

The cabin space was perfect for our needs. The location was beautiful although the driveway was a bit of a challenge. We did get more used to the driveway each time we went out. The family enjoyed the lake for fishing and kayaking! We ate at The Hare and Hound a couple of times in Landrum. We had a great time.

Outstanding stay for large family

Clean, spacious, and lovely view. Enjoyed swimming and using kayaks and paddleboards. There is a fairly steep walk down to and climb up from the dock. Otherwise, description is very accurate.

Comfortable

We felt very comfortable and relaxed on the property. Only two complaints: The bees outside, and I don't know if anything can be done about it. I know they are not aggressive, but it was hard to sit out there. Also, the pillows were hard to sleep on. Otherwise, everything was great. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and we had a great time. Thank you!

Cabin retreat

Our extended family enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful cabin. The picturesque lakeside location felt secluded, but is actually only a mile away from the charming village of Tryon and its shops and restaurants. The cabin is well maintained and equipped for outdoor and indoor entertainment. We enjoyed the kayaks, fishing gear, pool table and games. The cabin's layout and features were just right for our family of 10, including 4 children. The owner was accessible and responded quickly to our needs - over the top, really. I was surprised by the steepness of the driveway and the narrow lane approaching it, but everything else made it worth while. We highly recommend this property.
