'Everything was accurate to the listing. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, the furniture was nice. One thing I'd recommend people looking to come here are aware of, is that the house is not easily accessible by sedans or small cars. The road up the mountain to the house is extremely steep, and two of the smaller sedans we brought had a very rough time up, to the point where we had to have some people get out of the car to make it up. 'This property is nestled away in the woods, very quiet!! The cabin is stocked very well. The view is spectacular!! Very close to Lake Lure/ Chimney Rock. We highly recommend it for a very relaxing getaway! We will be back!'

'This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend.'

'We came to the area on a road trip from Ontario, Canada to see The Pretty Place and do some hiking. This is a great location for all of that. Everything is relatively close by. You can sit on the deck in the early morning and early evening and watch the deer that came out everyday. We will definitely consider this place again and would highly recommend to anyone'

The cabin is very close to Hwy 64 which makes getting around easy but in exchange there is quite a bit of traffic noise. The traffic noise is the only thing that made me give the “location and neighborhood” 3 start. Also, the steps really need a handrail. 'This property is exactly like the photos. We stayed with 2 families, and had 4 kids under 10. It was perfect! The kitchen was well-stocked, there was plenty of space, and the house was very clean! Downtown Hendersonville is only a short 20 min drive away, and snow tubing was only about a 5 minute drive. Both were fantastic! We will definitely be back!'
