« They gave us trouble with the room we reserved originally because they were having windows replaced and because we booked thru Expedia they stated they didn’t have a phone number to call us to let us know the room needed changed. They also didn’t tell us about the room change until I had to come back up and inform them we received the incorrect room. It took 3 room changes to get the correct room we reserved. « We loved our overnight stay at The Chanticleer. We had book the reservation for the wrong day and the owner(?) was very accommodating in helping us resolve 5he issue. The Inn itself was such a quaint peaceful throwback - reminding us of childhood trips long ago. Beautiful lake views from our room and a spot on dinner recommendation rounded out a perfect evening stop on our way to UP for a little getaway.
