« We had such a wonderful stay. This house was perfect and felt spacious for our family of four, plus two Shih Tzus. Our favorite area was the screened in patio with the hot tub- it was an awesome way to start and end each day. When we realized how close we were to Chicago (1 hr, 25 mins), we decided to do a Chicago day and drove out for a riverboat cruise. « Our biggest issue was the place had a strong smell kind of like wet dog. Our friend with allergies had a very hard time breathing. The water smell was not good. I understand it was well water but I felt have felt they should have provided a jug of drinking water. The mattresses and pillows were stained and several outlets and TVs did not work. The owners however were responsive during our visit and helped when I had difficulty with the key pad (my error not theirs). »
