Fantastic mountain escape

Home is spacious, beautifully designed and so comfortable! The pictures on the site do not do it justice! The views are spectacular and the pool and hot tub were a hit with our family and especially the kids! We plan on coming back!

Loved the house and pool. Lake is beautiful boat dock is great too. Very steep drive to lake. Our family had a great time. the house was well stocked. Would recommend staying here. Only had 1 towel per person for a week stay. might want to bring extras.

Nice property with great amenities. Could have been cleaner (floors, spider webs, etc. ). Corners of rooms and between couch cushions needed cleaned better. Overall a great week with plenty to do. We would recommend it.

The house was great - had tons of beautiful spaces throughout and everything worked well. The view was stunning, even with Lake Lure being low on water during the clean up. The pool was nice, though very warm! The house was well appointed with several items that we needed/wanted during the stay. Probably one of the most However, the house wasn’t as clean as we expected when we came in. There was a lot of dirt/hair on the floors, as well as confetti and balloons that must have been the last people in the house. After we left, we even got a phone call asking if we had a pet there bc they found evidence of a pet while cleaning. This was pet hair that was present when we arrived at the house.

Wonderful Stay at Panoramic View

We absolutely loved the area and property. The house is newly renovated and well stocked, from the kitchen and appliances to the pool and lake gear. Ample towels for showers and lake, extra linens if needed. Any issues we had were dealt with promptly by the rental company. As a side note: Highly recommend Lake Lure Adventures-we planned on taking the kids out skiing one day and ended up going back out 2 more times. Love this place and will definitely be back!

Exceptional Mountain Lake Home

The property had everything we expected and more! The house and boathouse were well appointed and fully operational. The lake and mountain views are second to none. The interior of the house looks to have been recently renovated and the new appointments, colors and finishes are top notch. There are king sized beds in every bedroom which is a plus! We were very pleased with the vacation rental and look forward to booking our next stay!

Fantastic stay

The property and view are beautiful. The place was clean, and the check in was smooth. Little touches like fresh flowers, and WiFi "pills", gave that feeling of "we care about our guests". Even on a rainy day, we made good use of the game room and the fun continued. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A Mediterranean-feel getaway in the mountains of North Carolina

WOW! was the overall consensus of both young and old when we walked into this spectacular home. The enormous views began as soon as we opened the front door and we felt swept away from the mountains of NC to a village in the mediterranean. The layout of this home allowed for the gorgeous view to be seen all throughout. While preparing meals, dining in either of the 2 dining areas, ,enjoying the living room, relaxing in the guest suite or the enormous master suite, the views were there reminding you of the beauty that surrounds. You can feel how much the homeowner wants you to enjoy this home by all of the fine details throughout and the little extras that were provided. While the pool area was enough to keep our group together and entertained, other areas of the home were just as enticing. The `game room` was the perfect place for some reprieve from the sun and a little healthy competition between young and old. We watched the sunset from the floor to ceiling windows in the living room while enjoying a family style dance party, adding to our fun and memories. The `littles` enjoyed their hidden getaway in the bunk room and deemed it `headquarters` for plotting schemes to play tricks on older siblings. (mwa-ha-ha!). The master suite was enormous and the full wall of windows was a glorious place to wake up and start the day. The dock also provided bounds of enjoyment and the provided paddle boards and kayaks allowed for some fun lake time. This home has it all and stories and experiences have been rehashed and shared for months after our visit. This was a perfect vacation spot and we would visit here again in a second! Need a few things

I liked the property very much and the view was amazing! I would have liked a few items in the house. We like to cook so a drain board and knife sharpener would have been great. We like to entertain so barware would have been nice. Glass highball glasses and martini glasses would have been nice. The road to the boat house was treacherous. Both my wife and I fell and skinned knees and toes. There should be a disclaimer of some sort. I think a golf cart or some other vehicle should be provided for your guests safety. A First Aid Kit should also be provided. The plants are obscuring the view from the pool patio. I would also change the connectors on the flag, they clank all day and distract from the relation. We did enjoy our stay and would stay again. Thanks

The Best on Lake Lure

This is hands down the best house on Lake Lure. I’ve stayed at this home a few times over the years. The house is now managed by Turnkey who is doing a great job. The home is clean and incredibly well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking at home. 3/4 of the bedrooms are more like master suites with very comfortable King-size beds and private attached bathrooms. Plenty of space and privacy for traveling with friend and other families.One of the things about this house that is hard to find elsewhere on the lake is having a private in-ground pool, and lake front access. The pool in so tranquil and the views can’t be beaten. We got in position for amazing sunsets every night. The boat house has great water toys like SUP boards and kayaks and is set up with a nice table and umbrella to just hang out. The walk to and from the boathouse has a couple but steep hills but it’s a short walk. I’d rather walk the hills than hundreds of steps. It’s also a easy drive with parking for 2 or 3 cars if the walk is challenging.The garage has been converted to a nice game room with tons of board game options, a TV, card table, ping pong table and fooseball table. So much fun!!We will definitely stay at this home again as it has quickly become our go-to spot in Lake Lure and is always amazing experience. Our family had a wonderful week at this wonderful home . The view of the lake was incredible. The children loved the pool. The boathouse was a short walk from the home and was equipped with float boats and kayaks. The property was immaculate. We will definitely stay again.

We were very happy with our rental experience, both in the quality of the rental and the quality of the service from TurnKey.This property has the most beautiful views of any rental I`ve ever stayed at. The pool area and home are beautiful. Also, everything was very clean.I appreciated that this rental was generally well-appointed with utensils/equipment. And that there were good, tempurpedic mattresses. My one recommendation would be to improve the WiFi access. This always seems to be a forgotten feature in rental properties, but with folks working from home on vacation, and every adult and child using devices, WiFi cannot be an area to skimp, particularly in high-end properties. Otherwise, no complaints and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Outstanding rental property!

Excellent stay in North Carolina

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Lake Lure home was perfect for our group of multiple families. Three of the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms and it was a Very comfortable stay for all. The kitchen was an excellent size, especially since we were there for Thanksgiving. It was also stocked with everything we needed. The view from the kitchen was amazing with the lake and the mountains and you could open the sliding windows to let some fresh air in the house. The house also comes with a play room with multiple games and would keep your kids (big and small) busy for hours. I would highly recommend this vacation home.
