'We were very happy with this house- fantastic view and tons of room for 6 retired ladies on their annual ladies trip. We met the host Gwen who gave us some great recommendations and also quickly fixed a minor issue. We enjoyed the restaurants in Lake Lure. GreyHawk and Lured had great outdoor spaces and food. All of us agreed (no small feat for six 60 ladies) that we will return to Lake Lure next year and to this house!'

'Very nice and cozy. Love the hot tub and gas grill, will definitely be back next year when the lake lure opens for swimming and fishing. It’s amazing to see the progress that has been done after Helene. '

'We never met the host and were not bothered by anyone, even though there was a house beside us........... we felt secluded. Nice home, hot tub was relaxing and the fire pit was perfect to sit around. '

'Lovely home to stay in, quiet neighborhood. Great diner next door it's call Tony's diner you have to go there if you stay at this home. There were a few quirks but no biggie we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.'

'We stayed at a cabin on top of Hickory Nut Lake in Lake Lure during the fall, and the place was beautiful. The view of the lake surrounded by all the colorful trees looked like a painting — especially in the morning and evening. It was peaceful, quiet, and a great spot to relax with family and friends.The cabin was very clean and well maintained. Aaron, the host, was excellent — he responded quickly whenever we needed something and was very helpful throughout our stay.We really enjoyed our time...

'Room was clean and spacious but the check in orocess was a mess. They office to check in at wasnt on the resort property and the rental was suppose to include the amenities passes. The passes we never requested from our property manager so we ended up having to pay extra on top of us already paying for them. Would not recommend going thru this company again.'

'We had the perfect fall getaway in this cabin. Our group was friends in their 40s and two 18-year-olds. We let the teenagers have the downstairs with the TV so they could play their video games. The adults took the upstairs which had the kitchen and the fireplace. It was chilly while we were there and we much enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace, added great ambience. We got great use out of the kitchen for cooking meals and we all fit great around the extra large kitchen table for eating and...

'We had such a wonderful time at the cabin with our family! It was just as described, and honestly, it was one of the best-stocked rentals we've ever stayed in. There were plenty of flashlights for everyone when the power went out after a tree fell and took out the lines—so thoughtful! Wayne was an awesome host and responded super quickly to any questions we had. We're already looking forward to coming back in the future!'

'Great location! Hosts are very nice people! The cabin is epic! We liked The Glass Chapel. And even if you are not planning to hike on the property, make sure you check out the Bell tower! You will not regret, it is so serene... Wonderful place! We will be back!'
