'Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff. Convenient location for those visitng the Algonquin / Arrowhead area. My only slight would be the room was quite small. Along with the tiny wall mounted TV. '

'staff were amazing, literally all of them. The building is being renovated by complete amateurs though and there were no notices when booking. Water issues, painting everywhere, shotty work even while spreading grout over tile with salt and mud on them just kept spreading the grout. Hotel is dated left right and center so them doing the lobby is for astetics. Pool is outdated, woods moldy, carpets gross. Is what it is though. '

'Top hotel. Mooie en schone kamer. Ligging is perfect als tussen hotel richting bijvoorbeeld Algonquin Provincial Park. Vriendelijk personeel en van alle gemakken voorzien. '

'Actually the hotel offers everything we wanted, we enjoyed a good sleep, bath and breakfast, it was clean and the staf is super. But: the look and feel of the hotel is outdated even while the decoration and some furniture is new. The lobby has older seats and wooden tables and does not look as nice as it looks on the foto´s. There is lots of brown and beige, and also dark curtains and carpet. Put in new curtains, laminated floor, lots of white and it will be much nicer'

'Had a great stay for the price - room was clean, location is close to downtown, bed was comfy, check in was easy. It's not luxury but we had no issues and would stay again!'

'The staff, Melanie was very friendly and helpful. The room was okay, nothing special. My only complain is the bed, which is the most important part of booking a room. Right as we got in the room we checked the bed and found so much hair, the pillows smelled like someone’s sweaty head, so i asked for fresh sheets and changed it myself.'

'Came up with my son for March Break expecting a higher-end experience for the price. Instead, it felt like a blatant cash grab. If this is the level of experience, I would have stayed in Toronto. The “kids zone” was embarrassing. A conference room with broken bouncy castles and unusable games. Calling that a March Break activity is misleading at best. The worst part was the food and service. We ordered a simple takeout meal from the Maple Pub that somehow cost $86. We were told 10 to 15...
