Pensions in La Roche-Chalais

'Everything was perfect Lovely and relaxing after traveling The swimming pool is a great bonus The hosts were great'

'Partner and I had such an incredible time here. Located between pomerol and st Emillion. Dream location. Owners make you feel so welcome and have an incredible understanding of the locals wines. This is a hidden gem and run by the owners from the heart. Would have loved to keep this a secret but just have to share it. Thank you thank thank you for the incredible days.'

'Unfortunately the experience in the room is poor as we stayed on two nights of unseasonally hot days of mid 30s. Our room faces west and there was no air conditoning. Thebhotels effort to put ina portable air con did not help and was way too noisy. The rest of the property ia great. Recommendation - do request no west facing room. '

'Very friendly and welcoming greeting on arrival. Our room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was good but be careful, the bath was very slippery, the shower however had good pressure and nice toiletries were provided. It is a period building and there was no AC but a fan was provided and due to the high ceilings the room was not excessively hot. The pool was amazing. Absolutely fabulous! We were encouraged to relax and enjoy the surrounding areas and make use of the...

'Geen scheiding of deur tussen badkamer/toilet Nogal genant als je je behoefte moet doen!! Pover ontbijt. Zeer duur voor de aanwezige accomodatie.'

'This property is staffed with very professional and knowledgeable staff whose job it is to make their guests comfortable and happy. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the Chateau and took the vineyard and wine storage areas with our guide, Thomas. One cannot go wrong with the comfortable and large rooms here, very isolated that we were able to recover from our jet lag (from the USA) without any road or civilization clatter and noise. A big thank you to the efficient staff - especially to...

'Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, zwembad rook naar iets teveel chloor, er zaten hier en daar wat beestjes en bladeren in het zwembad. Uitgebreid ontbijt, mocht zelf aangeven hoelaat we het ontbijt wilde. Bed was prima voor ons wat niet vaak voorkomt. Al met al een prima gite.'

'The proprietors are superb. The property has been extensively upgraded to a superb standard. The pool is perfect for relaxing around as is the number of chairs and tables undercover. BBQ if you wish. The mature trees are so colourful. In 7 years of travel around France this has to be our number one pick. '

' Beautiful decorated room with a super comfy big bed. The breakfast every morning is delicious and the owner always open for a chat. Large garden and a small gate at the end to go to the vineyards. A small Nespresso machine in the room would make it perfect! ;) We visited Bergerac, Duras, Eymet and Bordeaux. Beautiful area.'

'Vriendelijk en behulpzaam '

'L'accueil par Manu fut très sympathique. La chambre et la SdB sont spacieuses et tres propre. C'est calme. Mesurant 1m91, le lit était juste pour moi. Pour le reste tout était parfait y compris le petit dej. Je reviendrai à l'occasion et je recommande. '
