'Wow what a find . This place is like staying at a picture postcard and the owners can’t do enough for you . They accommodated our slightly late arrival and cooked us up a French food delight . Best food we have eaten on our whole 3 week trip together with the best b and b we have stayed in . I cannot recommend this place enough and the surrounding medical village is just gorgeous. You can even have a swim in the lake and have a dip in a hot tub . We will definitely be back and have a longer...

'Super mooie plek, super vriendelijke ontvangst. Zeer gastvrije hosts. Wij hadden bewust kamer met uitzicht op de Loire geboekt, was prachtig, maar wel wat lawaaiig vanwege ligging aan de weg. Komen hier graag terug voor wat langere periode. '

'We had a wonderful holiday at le moulin de la follaine. Its a calm and quiet, lush place and a great location from which you can travel to all the wonders of the pays Loire. We stayed at the gite, resembling a cute cottage, for a week and a half. There is a beautiful private garden when you rent the gite, but the whole premise (pond included) is accessible, very pretty and filled with animals such as 4 great cats, geese and chickens. 'It was a lovely stay, the hostess was a very gracious lady, the breakfast was great, fresh bageutte, croissant, boiled egg, jams, coffee or tea, fruit juice, all in your own semi private dining area,just enough to get you going for the day. It was also a easy walk to pretty much everything! The room was tastefully decorated with plenty of antiques, and the bathroom was up to date and clean, overall a great stay'

'Prachtige en sfeervolle locatie! Heerlijk ontbijt en vriendelijke eigenaar. In de omgeving is genoeg te beleven, oa de vele kastelen. Een aanrader.'

'Accommodatie is oud, en erg gedateerd. De eigenaar kwam om 21:00 al zeggen dat het stil moest zijn. Terwijl we alleen zaten te praten. Tevens het verwijt dat er niet gegeten of gedronken mocht worden op de kamer. En dan bedoel ik , thee of koffie. Al met al erg onvriendelijke mensen. Spreken alleen Frans en alleen de mogelijkheid contant te betalen. Geen fijne plek om te verblijven '

'Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.'
