8/10 Bien

The things that were awesome: the layout of the house was ideal for spending time with family; the kitchen was well-stocked; the furniture was comfortable and the linens and towels felt new and soft; the pool, especially later in the day when shaded, was really nice; lots of games and entertainment offerings; a nice neighborhood location. The less-awesome things: the “rules” of the house prohibit setting the AC below 76 degrees and the master bedroom was uncomfortably warm the duration of our stay. There was a small AC unit in the closet of the master bedroom but it was unclear (no instructions) if guests are intended/permitted to set up the separate AC unit to address the temperature imbalance. The lights in the side yard turn on by timer and stay on all night and the window coverings in the master don’t block the light. If you are someone who needs a cool, dark environment to sleep well, would not recommend. Another umbrella for shade in the backyard would have been welcome, too, for the melanin-challenged of us.Overall, our family had a good stay in the home and really appreciated the fun, relaxed vibe of the space. It would have been perfect aside from the temperature/light issue in the master.
