Great Pace

Loved this listing. Other than some minor inconveniences such as, missing a couple of large bowls, square baking pan, pancake turner and a broken can opener, this was a wonderful visit. We had a wonderful time at this accommodation. Looking forward to coming back.

Great pool access + the basics

We stayed 5 nights in this 3-BR condo, which has fantastic access to two pools. The quiet, gated community felt upscale and safe. There’s ample parking on the street right out front. Landscaping is well-maintained and the property is quite attractive overall. Communication with the host was excellent. They provided a nice guide to the property, which includes information about the unit, the gated community and the surrounding area. If you stay here, read the guide -- it's very helpful! The unit has most of the basics but not a ton of extras and is showing some wear & tear. Kitchen basics beyond salt and pepper would have been nice. The door on the dishwasher was squeaky and the sink faucet leaked at the base. The BBQ is slow to heat and doesn't get super hot -- not the host's fault, just the nature of electric grills! The takeaway: don't plan on cooking gourmet meals, and bring your own oils/spices. Grocery stores are conveniently located nearby. There is a good toaster and coffee maker, so if you plan to mostly eat out you should be fine. WiFi access and TV options were very good. Each patio has a cafe table and chairs, and the WiFi reaches them. Some of the furniture (e.g., mattress and couch) showed signs of age and were not the most comfortable. Our bathroom sink was missing the drain stopper, so we had to be very careful not to drop anything in the sink. Toiletries in each bathroom were acceptable, although we nearly ran out of toilet paper. Nice bathroom towels and pool towels were provided. The A/C unit in our bedroom was loud. In addition to the strong air flow, the vent squeaked and rattled. My husband had to use noise canceling earbuds to sleep. There did not seem to be a way to lower the air flow, so one side of the bed was quite cold and we could not find any extra blankets. Check-in and check-out were easy. Do allow a few extra minutes for check-out, as departing guests are requested to take out all their garbage & recycling to the nearby bins and to start a load of laundry. I'd consider staying here again, although not at the price we paid (inflated ~4-5x due to the tennis tournament), and we’d check first re: the wear & tear issues. At the normal price (not during tennis), this unit would be a decent value. Again, the up-sides to this rental included a very communicative and helpful host; fantastic pool access; nicely designed and maintained gated community; and a clean unit with good WiFi and other basic essentials.

Lovely property

Beautiful resort with an abundance of pools. The unit itself was spacious with 4 TVs, 3 bathrooms, and 3 beds. Our family was able to spread out and relax without bothering each other. Very short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. Parking was convenient, right next to the unit. We will be back; it was the perfect way to safely relax for a few days.

Clean property and beautiful complex!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property! This place was absolutely perfect for our family of 5 along with a set of grandparents. The layout was wonderful with having such private master bedroom suites along with their own patios to hang out on. We loved being right next to the pool and thought the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Would definitely return. Thanks for the great stay!

Great property for a group

We really enjoyed our stay in La Quinta. The property is beautiful and close to the La Quinta Resort and local restaurants and shops. The smaller pool behind the unit was basically private for us, or the larger pool is just across the street. Overall the house was clean and fairly well stocked. Living room seating could be upgraded to provided more seating and comfort, but the rooms were very nice and spacious. Definitely would stay here again.

Close to the main pool

Location was ideal, nice grassy area for kids to play. Condo was ok. Ice maker did not work, not a comfortable couch or chairs in living room. Mattress in smaller room was terrible! This unit can be rented as a 2 bedroom or 2 studios. Had lots of doors and hall ways. Our friends rented a 3 bedroom up a few blocks for a lot less. It had a garage, a comfortable feel and was just across the street from one of the smaller pools

Beautiful complex; extremely well-maintained

The house was perfect for our needs, 5 seniors at a mini-reunion. The kitchen is reasonably well-equipped. There was no corkscrew and the fry pans were scratched up teflon. Everything was very clean and orderly.
