Stolen Oaks - Cottage with All-seasons Porch, located near the Airport!

Stolen Oaks is located about three miles from town just beyond the Madeline Island Airport.  This 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage features a sun porch. The two bedrooms feature one queen bed, in the second bedroom there is a full (double) bed. You will also find a full kitchen at Stolen Oaks. You are also about 3 miles from Madeline Island's Town Park featuring wonderful hiking and two miles of sand beach!

Wonderful stay!

Our stay was wonderful at the cottage. I noticed a lot of reviews made it seem like they didn't have much there but not sure what more they expect, we had everything we needed & more! Was nice to feel like you were in the middle of the woods, bed was super comfy & it was overall such a good place.

Just Be Honest

The real issue was that we were unprepared because the listing was misleading. There were no firepits - listing indicated there were 2. Grill was charcoal and the store on the island charged $20! There were no beach towels - only 4 big towels for showering that needed to double as beach towels. No pizza cutter but decorative seashell butter spreaders - seems odd. No extra paper towels. Listing made it seem that there was a master bathroom - nope. There was one main bathroom and a VERY small bathroom in the sunroom (odd place to have the second bathroom). House was outdated but had been recently painted.

Quiet and private

Very nice and quiet secluded home. A designated outdoor area would enhance this rental. No curtains/blinds in one of the bedrooms but this did not impact our stay. Would stay here again and highly recommended!

Great island property!

This was perfect for our stay on our long weekend. The description and pictures are accurate. The doors don't close smoothly, but I'm sure that's due to the climate it's located in. It is a few miles from the action on the island, but we rented a car so it was perfect for us. Nice, quiet property. Thank you!

Diamond in the rough

Don't let the exterior fool you, this is a great house. Spacious, secluded, surrounded by beautiful woods, clean and open interior and just far enough from town to not have vacationer traffic.

Everything was great, the house was nicer than the pictures made it look. The only complaint is very minor, but the grill is tiny.
