'We (2 persons) booked this house as a stopover on our trip to the Dordogne and stayed here for 2 nights, so we could visit the town Loches. It was a perfect stay. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen is well equipped, the garden is lovely with a nice view at the Donjon. Fine bedroom with bathroom and toilet, and a good bed. The rooms, kitchen and garden have a tasteful decor. The house is a 5 minute walk away from the centre of the town. The owner gave us good tips about what to visit...

'Mooi gerenoveerd vrijstaand huis met zeer grote tuin. Zelfs een klein bosje. Aparte eetkamer en aparte woonkamer. Dus heel geschikt voor een gezin. Op loopafstand van een kleine dorpswinkel.'

'Eerste indruk was schitterend: je komt op een afgelegen, rustige, voormalige boerderij, met een beetje rommelige binnenplaats: het staat vol met leuke spullen (brocante), maar ook kapot materiaal. Typisch laissez-faire, laissez aller. Er zijn voldoende bijgebouwen om deze weg te bergen in afwachting van herstel, of gooi ze gewoon weg. De ontvangst was vriendelijk en hartelijk, maar niet echt proactief. We moesten zelf van alles vragen (waar vind je een bakker, supermarkt, etc...). Een infoblad...

'Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Emmanuelle Le gîte est très bien décoré et équipé « comme à la maison » Il se situe dans un petit village au calme, au centre de nombreux départs de balades à pied ou à vélo pour les châteaux voisins ( Blois Chambord Cheverny…) La communication avec la propriétaire était parfaite'
