« We enjoyed our time at this cute cabin! Very cozy and loved that we had a back yard for our small poodle mix pup. The home is dog friendly so obviously we expected other dogs have stayed there; however, it did not appear that the dog hair from previous guests was vaccumed. The throw pillows on the couches and the beds were covered in dog hair (and so were we). We bring our own "dog blankets" so our dog is not laying on the bedding or couches. « This property exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The wood-burning fireplace added a cozy touch that made evenings especially relaxing. The space was spotless, nicely laid out, and very comfortable furniture. We loved the cute, thoughtful touches, especially the toys provided for our kids. « Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids.
