« Excellent cozy holiday house. Very clean with all things present that were needed for an accomodation house. Comfortable beds with loads of warm duvets and spare blankets for the cold location mid winter. Extremely effective fireplace with exceptional firewood making warming the house very easy. Both my 9year old daughter and I very much enjoyed the brilliant range of kids books. Thanks loads Tracey and Steve. Was great getaway retreat to base from. Highly recommended. Close to tbe main road...

« My family of 5 stayed here for 4 days during our snowboarding trip. We had a lot of gear and this place served as an excellent base. It had all the amenities we needed and plenty of space. Only a 15 minutes drive from Whakapapa so we were able to secure a good car park every morning. It was a comfortable stay and we'll definitely be looking to stay here again for our next trip. »

When I could break through the AI chatbot that VRBO provides for feedback the owner was responsive and helpful. When I return to this property I will seek out the owner directly and cut out VRBO. « Our stay was amazing, although the road noise in the two front rooms where annoying I guess it's only until the road is opened again on state highway 1. The venue was lovely and we all enjoyed the 1920s theme, we even dressed in period clothing for dinner on the sat night. The house was well set up with everything we needed, and close to visiting the mountain. I would recommend this venue, especially for large groups. »
