'I stayed in Hotel MK for 4 nights. I booked a single room, which was the size of a shoebox. The room is really small, 6m2. But I was only in the hotel to sleep and shower. So it wasn't a problem at all. The room is clean, shower is okay. Location is perfect. Nearby MTR station Mongkok. Very nice people on the street. I walked alone to the hotel at 23:30 at night. Had no problem at all. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling alone. Had a really great time, and I would come back...

'Room service (such as dusting and moping floor) is not daily. You see roaches here, there, and everywhere. Killed more than 10 roaches, sizes from tiny to small to medium. No big flying ones. Location is great. MTR station is downstairs near the corner of street. Take out and sit in restaurants far and near. Lastly, I had problem with door lock but hotel owner sent repair staff to fix it pretty soon. I need to be taught how to close the door; otherwise, it may not be locked.'

'Value for money, cleanliness! Very good location, close to all amenities. The hotel is very clean and well equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only slight drawback is that at peak times the elevator is crowded and you have to queue. The trick to avoiding elevator congestion is to take the other elevator to a higher floor and walk back down one floor. I highly recommend.'

'This establishment should never be listed on any hotel sites. Extremely poor condition to find reception area, which is separate from actual room. Overall there was never a hotel named "Pacific Lodge" '

'Check-in was a terrible experience. Zero customer service, and the manager treats customers like criminals. The room's toilet was unusable without a toilet seat and would not flush properly. The room itself was not cleaned, and had broken floor tiles. The rooms are not well-maintained. The air conditioner did not work properly. The television did not work at all. The manager will claim they provide a good service for the cost, however, this is not the case. This place is a slum, not a...

'Took a while to find as entrance actually on Shantung St off the corner of Sai YeungnChoi St, right next to the Sharetea. In the heart of Mongkok so very convenient. Was able to check in at 11pm by ringing the caretaker at the desk even though it says after hours check-in is not available. I speak Cantonese so he was very helpful & showed me everything, to my room and how to use everything. There were extra bathroom items at the desk. Place is tiny especially as expected for this price in HK,...
