'Wardrobe had a light in which kept clicking all night keeping us awake. People outside the hotel used the pool and beach seats making it difficult to get a seat. We did not get to go around the pool. Food choice was very poor if you are a vegetarian. Had the poorest food ever in Skiathos around the pool bar - tasteless chicken and cod bites. When reported to the restaurant about the limited choice we were told that is all they’ve got - no attempt to address it or improve. In the end we ate...

'Vi hade en fin vistelse på detta hotell. Trevlig personal. Bra städning och städpersonal. Bra men ganska liten pool. En del sällskap upptog solstolarna hela dagarna. Mycket trafikerad väg alldeles utanför hotellet. Fin utsikt från familjerum. Nära till den jättefina stranden, bara kort promenad ca 150 m.'

'We had a great stay at Margi House. The room was beautifully furnished, and the outdoor jacuzzi was so lovely. The hill, which many mentioned, wasn’t too bad and was easily doable. The receptionist was super helpful and friendly - always with a smile on her face. Just a few things that could be improved: our coffee & water glasses weren’t cleaned until the last day. Since we didn’t have a kitchenette, this would have been nice. The main pool was lovely, but we did have to fish out a lot of bugs...

'Location spettacolare, situata su una collina da cui si vede il mare. Personale gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo apprezzato molto le chiacchierate di fine giornata con il proprietario e gli altri ospiti della struttura. Se ricapiteremo sull’isola torneremo volentieri qui!'

'The hotel is situated on the side of a hill which offers great panoramic views across the bay. There are quite a number of steps if you are walking from the pool or bar and restaurant area so may not be suited with those with accessibility needs. We had a room which also included a shared pool with an adjoining appointment. The room itself was nice, It was clean and comfortable. 'Had a great time at Afissos Blu Hotel. The location is perfect, right by the sea. Just down the street are a number of tavernas and shops. The little village is quiet and picturesque, ideal for a relaxing vacation. The highlight of our stay was our host. She was extremely helpful and accommodating! We were gifted a jar of homemade honey before we left and felt right at home during our stay. Highly recommended! 5 stars!'

'Sofia's Garden is at a great location and close to everything in Skopelos Town. Away from the main streets, within easy walking distance, it provides quiet and restful environment. The place is older in terms of furniture and amenities, but is properly cleaned every day, and room maid was going out her way to provide us with anything we needed during our stay. This place is a maximum value for money!'

'Appartement lag geweldig, direct aan het strand. Keuze bij het eten zeer minimaal, eigenlijk te weinig, maar dat had er ook mee te maken dat het drukke seizoen nog niet gestart is. Bar in de avond niet open, erg jammer. Geen gebruik kunnen maken van de watersporter, deze gaat pas 15 juni open. Ontbijt is prima, in de kamer alles netjes, goed stevig bed, voldoende ruimte, eigen balkon. Al met al een hele fijne vakantie alleen jammer dat niet alle faciliteiten beschikbaar waren '

'Stayed two nights june 24-26, we enjoyed this place and would stay again. Its a bit out of the way and a car is required although there are regular bus stops at the front gate. Had a well manicured garden and nice pool. A rocky beach is about a 3 minute walk. The room was clean, had all the amenities we expected and the bed was comfortable. They have two breakfasts, a light continental and a buffet. The continental was enough for us.'

'Minno hotel is a lovely experience from the moment you arrive. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The pool area is so calm and relaxing, it’s hard to tear yourself away to visit the rest of the island! The food is out of this world .. credit to the chef. Highly recommend on every level.'
