'The family room was superb, very big and clean. The beds were very good. The location is unfortunately not at the beach, as the name would suggest, but it’s only a 2 minute walk until you’re at the beach. There is lots of restaurants on the main road or at the beach, and the restaurant at the resort itself is also very good, if not a bit pricier than standard restaurants. 'Heerlijk kleinschalig resort, direct aan het strand. Vanaf de pier is het ongeveer 15 minuten met de taxi. Bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Vragen en verzoeken worsen direct opgepakt. Kamer was keurig en schoon. Badkamer was keurig en schoon. Helaas geen zwembad. Op loopafstand zijn vele restaurants. Een absolute aanrader!'

'Beautiful beach. Resort has some issues: Bed very uncomfortable to my liking (too soft and uncomfortable linen), pool water looked dirty and restaurant, though with nice view and sea breeze, lacks any atmosphere with hard straight chairs, it has the feeling of a footbaal canteen. Service is ok, with free transfer to Saladan pier.'

'Speciale dank aan vooral de staff zowel de heren met de buggy s als de mensen van de lobby en de beveiliging. Ook hebben ze een geweldige gozer die de motoren voor je regelt. De gardenvilla was geweldig en aan iedereen aan te raden. I Will be back'

'We had a lovely stay at Nirvana. Our room was beautiful and spacious, overlooking the beach. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pool is lovely and the swim up bar was great fun. There are paddleboards available for free use throughout the day. We organised a snorkelling trip and airport transfer through the hotel and they were very helpful with organising these. We also rented a scooter from the hotel which was a great way to see the island. Breakfast was tasty and in a beautiful setting...

'Lazy Days Bungalows is a great place to have a relaxed holiday. We really liked the houses made of bamboo located close to the beach. The restaurant near the houses served great breakfest, lunch and diner. Special thanks to Sunny who made us feel welcome and helped us with all our questions.'

'Prachtige villa met uitzicht op het strand. Fantastisch personeel bij de receptie en restautant en staan altijd klaar om je te helpen. Volgend jaar gaan we weer naar Moonlight Bay'

'We enjoyed our stay. When we arrived we were the only guests because of low season. We had a nice stay in one of the recent build rooms. Clean room, really nice (salt water) pool with jet streams in it. It is a short walk to the beach (5/10 min.) but no problem for us. We had breakfast at the resort and the owner was so nice to make fresh baked banana muffins for us. Really kind and tastefull... She also helped us a lot with planning daytrips snorkelling and visiting mangrove forrest. We love to...

'3 heerlijke dagen gehad in The Houben. De service is ongekend, het ontbijt is heerlijk en de kamers zijn erg groot met uitzicht over de zee. Niets is te veel voor het personeel, zou hier zo nog een keer naar toe gaan bij een bezoek aan koh lanta.'
