'It was perfect for what we needed, nice and close to town, a large room and lovely ensuite bathroom and comfortable beds. The owners were great and allowed us access to the room early as we needed to get to an appointment. All round great.'

'We hebben een prima verblijf gehad bij B B. Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en het parkeren is goed geregeld. Lekker dichtbij het centrum ook. Het ontbijt is lekker. In de kamer waren er wat dingen verouderd: de deur piept en kraakt, er zaten (schimmel?)vlekken op het plafond en de matrassen waren niet erg stevig. Maar al met al waren we erg tevreden!'

'Waar eens belangrijke rechters en advocaten van de British Crown verbleven als de rechtbank zitting hield, is nu de toerist welkom. Als hij of zij geïnteresseerd in de rechtsbescherming of de geschiedenis van de (Enelse) rechtspraak: ga hier heen om te overnachten.'

'Nice location and staff. Food was on schedule and good. Comfortable bed and rooms. Parking was limited, but that’s an issue all over UK. We would stay there again.'

'The hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of York and easy to get to. The staff were lovely and were able to accommodate giving us a lower-level room, which was so helpful (especially when pregnant in a heatwave!). There were lots of options available in the mini bar as well as teas, coffees, etc. The room was very comfortable and clean - we will definitely return next time we come to York.'

'Only one criticism I have is about the parking .There are only 2 parking spaces at the B&B this only came to my attention when I had booked and received the welcome email/text .i was lucky while I was staying I managed to get one for the 3 days .Other than its a great place to stay very clean and well maintained .'

'Smetteloos en fantastisch gerund B&B. Alle praktische zaken zijn aanwezig, zeer goede service, typisch klassiek Britse inrichting (heel schattig) en lekker ontbijt in zeer leuke ontbijtkamer. Gratis parkeren met de auto naast het B&B.'
