Welcome to "Ehh, What's up, Duck?", a charming 4-bedroom, 3-bath vacation home in the heart of Duck, NC. This dog-friendly retreat offers everything you need for a relaxing Outer Banks escape just a short walk to the beach and close to all the shops and restaurants in town.

Inside, the open and airy great room welcomes you with vaulted ceilings, natural light, and plenty of space to relax. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area make it easy to enjoy meals together, while the layout provides room for everyone to spread out and feel at home. Spend sunny days lounging by your private pool or take a short stroll to the nearby beach access. After a day of coastal adventure, unwind on the spacious decks, perfect for soaking in the salty breeze, enjoying a morning coffee, or gathering for evening drinks.

Whether you re spending quality time poolside, exploring the Village of Duck, or simply enjoying the comfort of this beautifully designed home, "Ehh, What's up, Duck?" is the ideal setting for your next Outer Banks vacation!

Beach Access: Head east out of the driveway down Poteskeet Drive. Private community access to the beach is at the end of the street.

Advance Year Bookings: Accepts Bookings 51 Weeks in Advance: This home allows the current year s guest the first option to rebook their dates for the future year. Contact our office for details on how to book this home for next year.

No Smoking/Vaping. Dog Friendly - 2 Dogs Maximum Allowed. Dogs allowed for an additional per pet fee.

Note: Third Full Bath is located on Pool Deck.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.

Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. This house was absolutely perfect for a long weekend getaway! The location was absolutely perfect and just minutes walking to get to the beach. Also great proximity to shops and restaurants, but on a quaint and quiet side street. The kitchen was well equipped, the fenced in yard with a pool (AND some grass area) made everything so much easier with kids and dogs. Will definitely stay here again!
