'A perfect house and location for an extended family reunion; a beautiful place. The river, tennis courts, walks, snooker, bbq, space inside and out means you can relax and know there’s something for every age. We love Netherhall. The kitchen is very well equipped for big groups - everything in order. Flora, James and family are excellent hosts: great communication and super friendly. We hope to return - for the sixth time! '

'Lovely clean caravan on a quiet very well kept site. Lots to see and do around the area, we had a fantastic 3 night stay. Lounge area spacious and double bed very comfy. Only thing I would say is that the twin beds are small my teenagers were too big to get comfy, would be OK for younger children.'

'The house was perfect for our family of 7, with four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All rooms were a good size with a large kitchen dinner. The bonus for us with two teenage grandchildren was the pool table and table tennis. Would go back anytime.'

'I would say what a lovely property this was couldn't fault it all as described.Had a great wee break with family and dog nice big fence in garden for privacy,spotless and very good communication with david. 'Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation, loads of games for the kids. Close to beautiful woods and Rockcliffe beach. Had some issues finding the lodge at first and some WiFi issues, but managed to resolve.'

'While we really enjoyed staying in the clean well appointed house, there are a couple of improvements that could be made to make it extra special. Please consider the quality of some of the contents e.g. the cutlery is flimsy and will not last long, pillows fell flat. The stair rail is a bit loose. Thank you.'

'Kippford is a pretty village on a beautiful river estuary and the location of Thornleigh is stunning - a stones throw from the beach where we swam and paddle boarded. The house is very spacious and well equipped with amazing views to appreciate the sunsets. The house is comfortable rather than luxurious but that suited us perfectly as we could relax and feel at home and we have all agreed that we will make Thornleigh an annual event!'
