The best part was the host who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. As we arrived, he plucked fresh passion fruits from his garden and made juice for us. For lunch, he arranged delicious home-cooked Sri Lankan food. For dinner, we requested grilled chicken and he arranged that as well at reasonable price. He also arranged a safari driver...

'My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Also well supplied with towels etc. The family that ran the guest house were very freindly and helpful. I had a wonderful meal with them on the last evening i was there.'

'Really cute new hotel! The staff was amazing! Due to miscommunication we arrived in another hotel, therefor we arrived late in Serenity. But it was al good and they took good care of us. They don’t have a restaurant, but the staff dien’t hesitate when we asked for some drinks! They went on a motorbike for us, late in the evening, for some drinks for us! So nice! Also, the room was amazing. Really big, nice bed, good working a/c and wifi! Really recommend this hotel! '

'If I could give 10 stars I would!! Such a lovely, tranquil place. The staff are some of the loveliest people we met in Sri Lanka. Dennis was incredibly helpful, the room was spotless and the breakfast the best we had on our trip. I would highly recommend this hotel'

'This guest house is overrated and overpriced for the quality. Its service was mediocre. The room cleanliness was bearable one but far below the level of the tourist hotel. Sigiriya Rock is not far though tuktuk from there required 3 times the normal price of taxi app.'
