'The hotel is in the middle of renovations, so there’s that. Great location and check in staff was friendly. For the price we paid for an oceanfront room, the room was ok. It had been updated, but there were cigarette ashes on our balcony and hair all over our room floor. The bathroom ceiling had mold. The neighbors that stayed near us Saturday night were obnoxiously loud til 4:30am, but that’s not the hotels fault. '

'Property is in a great location, walking distance to places to eat, shops. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was not kept up. Rust and cracks in the tub, shower head did not have a lot of water pressure. The refrigerator was not secure and had to be careful opening and closing. Ac unit did not get very cold. '

'Being early March, it was 55 degrees on day 1 and 69 on day 3. Being from Vermont, any day is a good day to sit at the end of a pier watching the sun rise and/ or set with a coffee/ beer in hand. The restaurant was excellent, with complementary breakfast, and dinner service available. '

'The property is convenient to the beach, has plenty of parking, has a gym, pool and laundry room as well. The carpet on the halls smells and s stained and could use a good professional cleaning. Rooms are comfortable and have a kitchenettes. It was nice to have a fridge. Great staff. '

'The staff was very accommodating in making sure we were happy with our room, even moving us to another room that was non-smoking. the Kitcheonette had a full-sized refrigerator. The beds were very comfortable with blackout curtains. It is a great location, near downtown Manteo and lots of restaurants. An inexpensive place to stay when going to a show at Manteo. '
