'I appreciate the Myah Hotel for its amenities, comfortable rooms, good food, friendly staff, and an experienced masseuse. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk manager during my second visit was disappointing. Due to an emergency, I was unable to arrive for my reservation the previous night. I explained the circumstances and asked whether I could still receive the breakfast I had already paid for and continue with my scheduled massage. The manager responded in a manner I found rude...

'There were a number of issues with the room that were reported to the staff. I’d prefer not to elaborate in detail here but the manager did try to rectify these reported problems.'

'No breakfast was provided nor was there any food available on property! I paid for a ocean view got a garden view looking at construction. The balcony door wasn’t closing, bugs were in our ears all night and being bitten. The Ac was not working, the water wasn’t working,, when we got it working the water was freezing, the lights were not working Overall experience was terrible. Plus having a 3month old & 5 year old in these conditions is not ideal!'

'Reeves is the property owner and was also our driver. He was most hospitable, amiable and serviceable. I cannot say enough good things about him. 'I had such a wonderful stay at this property, I was originally supposed to stay for one night but I ended up staying an extra night. The room is comfortable and clean, had a kitchenette which was useful. The hotel is right on the beach, so wake up early for some beautiful peaceful sunrise. There is also a gym, although some of the equipments are older than I’m used to, they had everything to work on all parts of your body, loved it.
