'Absolutely recommend the sunset surf shack for a little getaway in OBX. The hosts Amber and Brett have a lovely home and were great with communication and any recommendations that you may need help with during your stay. Local to the beach and with what they offer in allowing use of the bikes for the path or if you want to take a paddle out in the bay they are very kind to offer that. Highly recommend staying again if we get the chance. Thank you again Amber and Brett for having us with you guys...

'I could not say enough great things about this property. It was incredibly clean, the coffee each morning was a wonderful touch, and the hot tub was amazing. Being able to cruise around on the bikes was phenomenal, and both the shower and bathtub were exceptional.The hosts were fantastic as well. A bad storm came through during our stay, and we briefly lost power. I messaged them, and they immediately checked in to make sure we were safe and okay.We slept wonderfully, and overall, it was truly a...

'We enjoyed our stay at the Boho Bungulo. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The Bedroom, bath (shower inside and outdoor tub), and kitchen were nicely done with items that you would feel comfortable using at home. We had one issue with the large tv in the living room but the host was very responsive and sent someone out to correct the problem. The property is convenient to the Wright Brothers Museum, the Wild Horse tours, Lighthouses, good restaurants, and more.'

'The location was the best part of this property. It is right by the beach and only a few minute walk will get you to the shore. The cleanliness is the biggest issue with this property. The property was filthy especially the kitchen and bedroom areas. The bed sheets had a horrible musty smell to them. The bed is also very uncomfortable and possibly broken. The utilities all worked fine in the kitchen but nothing was cleaned properly.'

'10 stars! It was so wonderful to be nestled in this woodland retreat as the forest provided relief from the relentless Heat Wave over 4th of July (250th!) weekend. Also a peaceful escape as it sits fairly far away from the highway and retail areas. The stairs are long, but doable if you aren't carrying much. Colleen is best hostess ever! No, seriously, she IS the best out of ALL my travel stays. Sweet touches and treats everywhere. Definitely coming back here.'

'Lorna was an excellent host! She really made our honeymoon stay extra special! The place was the perfect size for my wife and I and was very cozy. She went above and beyond, even folding and sorting our laundry! If you are looking for a place to stay in the OBX, we couldn’t recommend this place enough!'
