Sugar Beach Resort sits steps away from the Pacific Ocean in North Kihei and a 5-mile white sandy beach that fronts the property. Guest enjoy taking morning and sunset beach walks while enjoying the panoramic view of Pacific Ocean.

Watch Humpback whales visit the Hawaiian waters each year from Dec - March you will be able to catch a glimpse of Hawaii's Humpback whales from our Lanai.

Sugar Beach is centrally located, minutes away from Lahaina, Kapalua, downtown Kihei, Wailea, north shore/Paia and some of Maui's famous beaches, renowned golf courses and Maalea Harbor where the Maui Ocean Aquarium is.

The resort comprises of two six story building with elevators on each building. It has a large pool area with Jacuzzi and children's wading pool, spa, oceanfront gas BBQ, sandwich shop/bar, massage place, and free on-site open parking and one covered parking located in the Mills Building. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with putting green and a Koi pond.

Our renovated condo is aesthetically furnished! Featuring central air conditioning, in-unit front loading washer/dryer, safe, free WiFi, free long distance phone calls between US/ Canada, hardwood floor throughout the unit. It's beautifully decorated with premium furnishings, including a DVD player, 2 Flat Screen TV with cable -- 55” living room and a 46" smart TV in the bedroom. The unit is also equipped with a WiFi booster.

Our gourmet kitchen is fully stacked and is ready for any chefs who love to cook. It is equipped with Stainless Steel appliances. Cherry colored cabinets, granite counter and stylish island a beautiful bar style dining table that sits four.

King size bed in the bedroom with luxury linens, duvet covers, towels and a queen size sleeper bed in the living room. Mirror glass sliding closet doors. Soft white window covering providing a comfortable setting after a long day of outside activity. The bathroom is tastefully designed with 12x8 rain shower head to pamper you after a long day of lounging in the beach.

The private lanai looks out over the ocean where you can see Molokini crater and Kahoolawe island (the only uninhabited island in Hawaii) as well as the central promenade/pool area. On a clear day, you will be able to see the observatory on top of Haleakala mountain.

SB201 as we call our condo is our second home away from home and it is our getaway place and a place to re-energize and rekindle life when it gets too much! It is a place where you don't have to worry about the crowded beach and walkways, just enjoy the beach and the sunset!

We love the Sugar Beach area because it is a convenient location and we can walk on the beach for miles in either direction. SB201 is a comfortable, well-stocked, homey place. Well equipped condo on beautiful beach

We have stayed in this condo many times and it never disappoints. Many new updates this year. Always well equipped. Great location. Close to road to Kaualui for Costco Walmart and Target. Close to all the best beaches on the island. Parking never a problem. Lovely pool area with a lot of lounge chairs. Grills by pool are always available. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Spot

This was our first time in Maui, the Kihei location is perfect. It felt central to everything. We enjoyed a 2.5 mile walk on the beach every morning. SB201 location is on the beach, its great. Place was very nice, we did not cook just had coffee and some of the maui banana bread in the morning , we enjoyed it very much.

Wonderful Stay

Waking up each morning to have coffee on the lanai and look at both the water and the sunrise over the mountain was a dream. Then having direct access to walk the beach made for a great start to the day. In-unit laundry was so convenient. Super convenient location to get around the island: easy from airport, quick to the marina, and close to explore everything else. Bonus was having Dina's located on the property for great sandwiches and drinks. Sue was so accommodating and responsive, made for a seamless stay! Would stay again!

Great Stay in a beautiful place.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Sugar Beach Resort. The location is great as it's quiet and a little bit away from the hustle of Kihei but still a short walk to an ABC. The unit is immaculately clean and freshly renovated. The unit is stocked with everything you can imagine for cooking and enjoying the beach. Great sun on the Lanai until early afternoon. A short drive to whale watching tours in Maalaea and 20 minutes from McKeana State Park. There is a small bar and grill right on the property. Ample parking and lounging space at the pool.

Quiet location

We enjoyed having this condo as our home base each evening after exploring Maui! We loved that it was centrally located on the island in Kihei, but not IN the busyness of Kihei. The only thing I wish was different was the size of the bathroom, the shower specifically. It is very small, with a half glass wall and no actual door to the shower. It also has an oversized rain showerhead that made it feel even smaller. It was difficult to comfortably move in the shower and stay warm. It worked ok for us as adults, but if we were traveling with kids, the shower would have made it really difficult to make sure the kids got really clean after a day at the beach. We would have been mopping up the floor after each kid shower for sure!

Location is FANTASTIC! All high rated food trucks and restaurants are super close! The airport is also very close (about 15-20 minutes). The apartment had everything you need for your Maui vacation (beach chairs, umbrella, towels and toys). The bed was very comfortable and our son loved the sofa bed. The apartment is perfect for a family of 3 or 4. The washer and the dryer is a HUGE PLUS! - Sue is very responsive and always replies to any question or queries right away. We had a great time and we hope we get to visit Maui again! Mahalo :)

So glad we got to stay at SB201! It was such a beautiful place to stay for our family and the loacation was very convenient. It is close to everything and being literally right on the beach was a huge plus!! Sue was also an amazing host and answered all the questions before and during our stay.
