Great Stay

The place was perfect for our family, facilities and home were exceptionally well kept. Extremely convenient to local food, beaches and etc. Condo was accurately described and more roomy than expected, patio was fantastic.

Easy check in. Very clean condo with a gorgeous lanai that overlooks the property. Fully stocked kitchen. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler snorkel gear, etc. Quiet fourth floor condo that is near the elevator. The split ac units did a great job keeping it cool. We would stay here again.

Nice facility and nice set up. Bummer the pool was closed one day but we did get a partial refund for the inconvenience. Recommend this place for your family vacation.

Clean Nice Condo

Beautifully updated and clean condo, came with boogie boards umbrellas and ice chest. Had all the amenities and more! I visit Maui every year, will definitely book with the owner again. Also my son left some clothes behind, house cleaner found them and owner got a hold of me right away. I will not stay anywhere else.

Well stocked condo

We’ve stayed at six other units over the years. This one was the most well stocked, was clean and updated, the a/c units all worked well, the lanai was the largest we’ve had, the fridge makes ice, and the parking spot was nice and close to the elevator.

Wonderful and very stocked Condo

We’ve stayed at Kamaole before in several different units, and this one was by far the best stocked! The location was fantastic—close to the pool and just a short walk to the BBQs. The view from the lanai was stunning, offering a clear ocean view.We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the plastic plates, bowls, and cups for our 3- and 7-year-olds, which saved us from worrying about broken dishes. The AC worked perfectly, and the extra amenities—beach umbrellas, sand toys, a backpack cooler, and beach chairs—made our adventures and beach days so much easier.The property manager was also fantastic, responding promptly when we reached out. Overall, this was an incredible place to stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again!

We had an amazing time. The pool area and gym were great for our family. A short walk to the beach if you want. Me and my husband took our children aged 20 and 17. You can see the ocean from the balcony. We used the pull out couch. We do wish there were extra pillows and a blanket for the pull out couch. Overall the place was clean and central to many sites. We would book it again.

Family trip to Kihei

My family and I (spouse and 3 teen/adult children) stayed at Kamaole Sands for the Thanksgiving break. We had an amazing time, the grounds were very well kept and the unit had everything we needed to cook/grill for the week. The beds were very comfortable and 2 of my adult children slept on the queen sofa bed and had no complaints. The unit also had beach chairs and towles a beach umbrella, and snorkel gear for us to use. We had a great view of the pool and ocean. It was a quick easy walk to the beach (Kam III) and shops.

We didn’t make much use of the pool or amenities but it was nice that they were available. The beach immediately across the street from the resort is one of the best for snorkeling in the mornings and restaurants are walking distance!We appreciated that they have recycling, though they could make it easier and better labeled.This is not a good location to try to take work calls and video calls, because there is only one room with a door and the birds and pool area can be noisy from the balcony.

We loved this condo!

We came to Kihei for a family vacation with our adult children, their partners, and some extended family. We booked three Kamaole Sands condos to accommodate us all and this unit was by far our favorite! The view of the ocean is fabulous and the tall ceilings make it feel very roomy, even when we had several of us there at dinner time. The open concept makes it perfect for accommodating the group while also allowing everyone to be part of the gathering. We cooked many meals here, and the condo is very well equipped with kitchen utensils and supplies. It is also well stocked with beach towels and supplies, which allowed us to make wonderful memories on Maui's many beaches. The condo had plenty of bath towels and super comfortable beds. This condo is wonderful for a group of 6, but I would book it again even if it was just my husband and myself.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the unit is perfect. Close to the beach with views of the pool area and sunsets. You can sunbath from the veranga/lanai. The kitchen is well equipped. Here are the issues:1. We got stained towels at the check in. They were washed but still stained. When you're paying some pretty sum of money for your stay, it is the last thing you want to discover at the arrival.2. The fan window upstairs is leaking water when it's raining hard. We were woken up in the middle of the night by water dripping on the floor and bed. The stains on the wall indicate that this is a chronic issue. 3. The dryer is still squeaking. I read in someone's review that it was doing it 6 months ago. Guess what- it is still squeaking. We had to leave the apartment while it was running.

My family was on vacation in Maui to celebrate my 50th birthday with friends and family. It was so nice to have a large condo to enjoy family dinners and game nights. The condo was in the perfect location, within walking distance of various beaches, shops, and restaurants. Working with Rentals Maui was A+. Any questions or concerns we had, they replied immediately with professional service. The condo had a fantastic view of the ocean as you relaxed on the lanai, enjoying our morning tea and breakfast. I loved the openness of the condo layout—plenty of room for our adult family of 5. Having the beach accessories was so lovely for us to enjoy our beach time. It was nice having the washer and dryer in the unit. And when we had issues with the dryer, the condo rental manager was quick to reply to our concern and promptly repair the issue. Having the two parking spaces with the rental was very nice too. The pool was nice lots of space. The condo grounds are beautiful. I only suggest replacing the two vacuum cleaners in the unit they do not work very well. It would be nice to let the guest know with the check-in notes about the island recycling and what we need to recycle. My family has already started planning our next trip and plans to try and rent the same condo. We really love the condo and location!!!!
