'We received a very warm welcome from Craig and Claire on arrival, Craig even carried my suitcase from the car to the hotel where Claire took over and gave us the tour of the hotel ground floor and explained how things worked. Our room was spacious enough with an ensuite, I might suggest you take on of the chairs out we never sat on both at the same time. Bathroom was a great size with plenty room for our toiletries. 'We stayed the Lyndhurst for 6 nights. It is conveniently located and an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Our room was small, but well maintained, quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is on the street, but we usually were able to find a spot close by. We recommend this little gem.'

'Paul was an exceptional host to my friend and I, we had room 7 which is a twin room with beautiful Mountain View’s. It was super clean and comfy, stocked with teas, coffees, etc. The breakfast each day was superb, brilliant quality ingredients for both hot or cold choices. Excellent location walkable to Keswick town centre, Derwentwater lake, Hope park, to name a few. I would highly recommend Strathmore Guesthouse!'
