'Owner responded promptly to various questions prior to and during our stay. The property is very cool and just a short distance from Kernville Road. Super easy check out process with no chores required.'

'If you are looking to stay close to Kern River, Lake Isabella, or the Trail of 100 giants, this is your go to place. It is conveniently located close to all 3 places. A convenience store with lots of helpful supplies is just a few steps away and there are lots of places to go enjoy the cool water during the hot days just a few minutes drive away or walking distance. Anthony, the host, was super friendly. The whole process was quick and easy. Anthony was super responsive and their home was fully...

'Our second time staying at this great place for the 4th of July weekend. This home is conveniently located, yet somewhat secluded. We had friends join us for bbq on the beautiful back patio under the oaks, and had a fabulous time! The kitchen was generously supplied, the beds were clean, comfortable and tastefully made up.What a great place to celebrate our Nation's 250th anniversary!!'

'DO NOT waste your money on this property unless you'd like to be bother & harassed by the owner, Amelia, your entire stay. First of all, Amelia callled me at 8am our first full day of our family trip. She questioned my integrity as she over counted the amount of family members I had paid for on her home camera system. I explained we felt uncomfortable with her spying on our intimate family time, but insisted she recount us on her cameras because I had 13 guest & I paid for each of them, if she...

'Clean, large property'

'Great Host, very accommodating.'

'Very nice property, we enjoyed our stay. I gave 4 stars because check-in communication was a bit challenging. We were coming off a grand tour and has stayed in multiple homes, and were coming through areas with little to no service. I was up front about this and was unable to get an address/check in instructions until a few hours before check-in. Every other rental we had on the trip provided address and check in instructions at least 2-3 days prior to arrival. Again, overall nice stay, but we...

'Great place! Mark is a fantastic host, and made sure everything went smoothly. Mark really does think of everything to make your stay at his property and the surrounding area a great experience.'

'The room was lovely -spacious, clean, nice decor, comfortable beds. The host was responsive and helpful. The location is quiet, nestled in a beautiful mountain setting in the Sierras. The lady who works at the General Store was very helpful in letting is use her phone when we learned Verizon does not have service up there. The lodge, which is a separate building from the rooms and is closed, is a marvelous piece of mountain architecture that offers beautiful grounds and a Frederick Remington...

'The entire unit, inside and out, was dirty and dusty. The unit was not well stocked. We did not receive the second gate code until after the check in time.I would not recommend this VRBO to anyone. When I tried to let the host know my concerns that did not seem to care.'
