'Our family stayed for a few days and had a great time. The kitchen is great, outfitted with cooking spices and equipment. We were disappointed to find that the living room couch was not a bed or even futon, but we made do. The location was great for our needs, being just outside of Chicago, but close to stores of all kinds.'

The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming, and we especially enjoyed having access to the community swimming pool, it was a nice bonus. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout. 'Hosts went above and beyond to accommodate my senior mother with a private bed on main level. They were also accommodating on other requests that I had. It was such a fun, nostalgic place. It was all exactly how I remembered the Old Mill to be and the private beach made for some additional family time. I see a wonderful future for this getaway place!! '
