It's NAIDOC Week and thought we would celebrate with a walk to see some amazing Aboriginal Art work which is standing the test of time. I have copied the following information from the National Parks website to provide you with accurate information. The photos are my own. smile emoticon I recommend a visit to this special place. BULGANDRY. "Bulgandry Aboriginal art site in Brisbane Water National Park is a special landscape, rich in ancient Aboriginal rock art of the Guringai People. There’s a wide range of well-preserved engravings to see; most of them are more than 200 years old with many perhaps ten times that age. The name Bulgandry belongs to the large engraving of a man thought to represent an ancestral hero, depicted with an impressive headdress. You’ll also see wallabies, fish, a dolphin and what’s thought to be a canoe and a bird. Keep walking to see some stone tool sharpening grooves nearby, or simply take in the site’s beautiful bush surroundings. Indigenous sites such as Bulgandry provide valuable insight into Aboriginal traditions, past lifestyles and previous interactions with the environment. Hotel was excellant-only dropped one star as their was only one staff member at reception that greated us each time we walked through-the others kept their heads down. A simple 'welcome back' or 'hi' would have earned top marks.

Overall the cabin was OK. It was opposite the camp kitchen. The noise from this area was dreadful on both nights. People partying until after 2.30an. They were asked to move several times. I suggest the lights should be turned off at 11pm. Never again.

Steden in de buurt van Kariong

A 'private' little oasis. Not so private. It is a small little beach along the waterfront as you walk from the ferry down to the picnic areas and boat ramp. I call it my own little private beach where I find my 'peaceful' spot to stop and have my lunch during my working days. The waterfront is a quiet idyllic spot to rest and have a bite to eat. The first stop on the train line into the Central Coast. It is surrounded by the water with amazing shared walking/bike path for both the locals and visitors to enjoy. A great little spot to put a line in the water and try your luck at catching a fish.
