Awe-insprining morning views

My family had a fantastic stay at this wonderful property. The home is very clean and well appointed - ideal for our family get together. Both David and the property manager, Nicole, were great communicators and wanted to make sure had what we needed during our stay. We appreciated how all the light switches were clearly labeled, and we even learned how to use the Alexa tool to request for lights to be turned on/ off as needed. Our absolute favorite part of the home was the view of the golf course and volcanoes, and how there was ample room for us to enjoy meals and board games together when we weren't exploring the island. We greatly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return someday!

Great stay at a great property

The listing is accurate with all the bells and whistles that you would need. Modern appliances in a great kitchen and the condo itself has a good floorplan that accommodated our family. We were pretty low-key with a few basic questions, but whatever we asked the representative answered timely. There is also a nice pool within a few feet walking distance. Maybe add more information about the closest local beach, because it was actually a really nice one and we immediately spotted a turtle when snorkeling on the first day!

Great location for Big Island

The home was a perfect place of reat for the end of our busy days. We also took a fews days off from adventuring and took advantage of the Mauna Lani beach and the pool across the street. The view from the back lanai was great to enjoy every morning while drinking some Kona coffee! I would definitely stay here again.

Best VRBO Ever!

My sister, my 4 kids (ages 9-17), and I spent 4 days at this AMAZING home. The location is great. The house is beautiful. The home is well cared for and well stocked including spices and oils and such. It felt like HOME. The pool is fun for kiddos. And the closr private beach is perfect for all ages. We would love to stay here again!

Great vacation

The property was very clean and in a great location very close to the beach. It was very easy to get in touch with the host. The pool was right across the street. The only thing I wish I would have known sooner is there is golf cart rentals at the shops near by. This have helped the girls go to the beach while the boys took the car to golf. We had a great time on our vacation :)

Great location in Mauna Lani

We had a great family trip to stay at David’s villa in Mauna Lani. It is directly across the street from the community pool which is perfect for kids and equipped with a bbq and shaded seating. Then we took advantage of the beach club access in the protected cove approx a mile away (a quick car or golf cart ride away). David and the prop mgr were very responsive to any questions we had and super helpful throughout our stay.

Great, family friendly condo located close to beach, restaurants and shopping!

We had such a relaxing time staying at this very clean, organized and modern condo. David and Nicole were very responsive and had great ideas for things to do with our kids. The condo was stocked with everything we needed from water gear and a bike, to any kitchen amenity you could ever need. The salt water pool was close and the condo was very private with a great view of the golf course and mountains. We have spent a lot of time on the Big Island over the last 25 years and this location was one of the best. Thanks David, for sharing your beautiful place with us! We will be back for sure!!!

Fabulous property

This is a fabulous property. David was a great host! He immediately responded to any questions we had in addition to being a very generous homeowner. The condo is situated on the 4th tee. We watched golfers while having breakfast. The pool is just steps away. Access to a private beach is a short drive. We will be back!

Our family loved staying here. Best lodging ever.

All five of us (a couple and three adult kids) loved staying at this beautiful unit! When we were asked for suggestions that would have made it better, we could not come up with a single thing since it was perfection. The location of the unit in Mauna Lani was great, including the proximity to the best beaches (including the private beach club), shopping, restaurants and great hotels. The small complex had a lovely pool area and gym just steps away from our door, and we used and appreciated both. The spacious condo itself was tremendous, from the beautiful furnishings to the well-appointed kitchen to the comfortable beds. Bravo! David and his team provided loads of helpful information and were wonderful to deal with. We cannot wait to return and we hope to avail ourselves of David’s hospitality on our next trip.

Home Away From Home

COMMUNICATION: David (the owner) was wonderful to work with from the moment we booked the villa throughout our entire 13-day stay. His communication and promptness is top-notch. You won't get short, one sentence answers from David. You will get lengthy, extremely thorough and helpful answers. It was so evident that he wanted nothing more than to ensure that our stay was comfortable and met our expectations. CLEANLINESS: For anyone who has stayed nearly two weeks somewhere, you know the importance of being able to do a little cleaning yourself. The villa had plenty of supplies (vacuum, dusters, cleaning liquids, paper towel, rags) to do so. Could even use the blower to keep the front and back porches clean of debris after a windy day. Some rentals can get "worn" and the furniture can seem icky. That is certainly an issue for us and can instantly ruin a stay. Definitely not the case here. Beds, pillows, couches, and chairs were all in great condition with no stains or damage. Wooden desks and dining table were also in perfect condition. And carpet was clean...this is a big deal for us. STOCK: We appreciated the plethora of kitchen supplies/appliances, bowls, utensils, spices, aluminum foil, baggies, Dawn, Cascade, and dishes. We used the rice maker multiple times and grilled our fresh catch from a day at sea. The huge selection of beach towels and bathroom linens was wonderful. We never ran low before having the time to get in a load or two of laundry. There is a hang-up bar in the master closet that you can place out by the washer and dryer. Makes it easy to hang up clean clothes that way before putting them in their respective closets. Bathrooms were also amply stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and blow dryers. I recommend you take notice of the stock within the villa before going to the store and spending money on things. Because, chances are you will find the one-off thing you need without needing to buy it in bulk. Papers, pens, post-its...plenty of those. My husband even chose a book from the collection to start reading and ended up ordering a copy on Ebay so that he could finish it upon returning home. In summary, David is a wonderful host. He seems to take great pride in the experiences his renters have. He wants everything to be great from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. I cannot praise his helpfulness and kindness enough. I would certainly rent from David again any day.

Absolute Perfection!

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed in. Ever. David has beautifully decorated his home and it is stocked with anything you could need. David is very responsive and helpful. The beach club was fantastic and had the best snorkeling--our family of five could not have been happier! The pool and gym were great--no list or restrictions on use. Shopping and restaurants are nearby. David-Thank you for sharing your lovely home. I'd love for you to come decorate mine =)

Great house, great host, so much more space for the money than a hotel!

The house is impeccably maintained and very comfortable. David is also highly responsive to any questions or concerns and really cares about making sure you have a flawless experience. The only downside to the property is that it's not easily walkable to the beach club. While it seems close based on how the crow flies, there are lava rocks which impede the path, making it pretty much necessary to drive everywhere. Not a big deal, but worth keeping in mind. The gym in also very small, only allowing 1 person at a time and requires advanced reservation. May or may not be relevant for everyone, but worth knowing.

Wonderful property in a great location

Golf villa at Mani Launi

Stay was quite and relaxing. Internet connection was in and out one time but overall was good. Beds were very relaxing and temp inside was good even for naps. No beach chairs or snorkel gear unfortunately. Area however was good for walks or jogs. We had a relaxing time.
