'This property was perfect for my family. Not only was the house spacious, but the back yard was also huge. My children enjoyed playing in the yard, watching the stream at the edge of the yard, and visiting the neighbor's horse! Having access to the laundry was very helpful for us. We had everything that we needed in the house. Everything was clean. Communicating with our host was easy. Check-in directions were easy to follow.'

'The “marketing” photograph on Expedia was informative and true! Through the room’s window there was a beautiful view of grass in the foreground and the ocean beyond. (Even better from outside, standing on the adjacent mown grass.) The owner was friendly and helpful. It is quiet and pleasant. Nearby (a short drive) Honoka’a is a pleasant and unspoiled town with several dining choices. 'We were greeted by the host when we arrived. The home was charming and conveniently close to town where our event was occurring. We enjoyed the artwork on the walls, comfortable beds, and the Kohala weather. We will definitely be staying here again if the opportunity aligns.'

'What a wonderful place! Great communication with the friendly host, Darin. The grounds are spectacular, with tropical plants and a beautiful waterfall. Very quiet, and very near the Waipi'o overlook. Apartment is very clean and nicely furnished. Loved the eclectic decor! Kitchen is great, with everything you need to cook in. (You're a bit far from town, so restaurants may not be an option, and everything closes early in that part of Hawaii!). But if you want a secluded, serene island...
