« Beautiful cabin nestled next to mt st helens, about a 40 minute drive from the mountain. River access was advertised but we were not able to access it on the advised trail. »

« The Lewis River flows by just outside the door of this marvelous house. The well-stocked kitchen (condiments! Sharp knives! Toaster!) was super nice to use, and stores are a short drive away in Woodland. The homemade salmon dip was amazing! The hosts were friendly and helpful and stayed out of our hair once we checked in. « We were in town for a wedding and this cabin was great for my husband, adult son, teen son, 2 labs and Me! Trail up hill in back is a thigh burner but a great start to the morning. Dogs were happy roaming the fenced property. Cabin has everything you need although internet is spotty at times. C stores in Cougar have are stocked if you forgot something, only 1.5 mile away. Resort restaurant (Log Fir?) has EXCELLENT food. Burgers were delicious, chili cheese fries amazing and my husband had stew,...

« We stayed for a weekend volleyball tournament and found it to be perfect for our needs. Our family of 4(2 adults & 2 teen kids) and the grandparents, had just the right amount of space for a quick trip. We enjoyed playing games and having meals together at the table, loved the private courtyard and easy coded entrance for check-in. The house was simple and clean, just what we hoped for. « This place was actually better than I expected. I invited my Daughter in law along with her baby boy and 4 year old. The home is beautifully done with everything you could ask for. One huge stand out for me was the fact that you can enjoy total privacy on your own lake. Highly recommend this spot. Made some great memories there. »

« Very clean property and well maintained. Beds were comfortable, however two of the four bed are on the floor without bed frames which was a surprise. Since some of us were on the senior side of time, we had to decide who was best able to get off the floor. Do bring your own shampoo, soap etc. as they are not provided. Photos do not do the home justice, it's more beautiful than the photos. Excellent, quiet neighborhood but parking is a bit crowded if you have more than two vehicles. »

« Our home was a great mid point for all the tourist things we wanted to do with easy access on and off interstate 5. Kalama has interesting spots to take in and the drive to Multnomah Falls and Mount St. Helen’s was easy. The host was easy to communicate with and we loved our stay there. Definitely would rent there again. »
