It has a short 3 minute walk to shops, open markets and restaurants in the picturesque town of Kailua-Kona. There is free parking for renters (both open or covered), elevators, air conditioning and secured DSL internet access (WIFI).

The Kona Reef complex offers an Oceanfront Pool, Jacuzzi / Hot Tub, Gas Grills and Pool Side Dining area.

Please note we have a 5 night minimum rental requirement. (4 Night Min during Summer Season / 10 night minimum for the annual Ironman Competition dates / Other exceptions based on available calendar openings)

2026 & 2027 will be interesting years at Kona Reef. There will be Spauling repair occurring throughout the complex. Work on Building A (our Bldg) is completed. The majority of the noise and dust directly affecting our unit is pretty much over. Between the ocean breeze and the sounds of the surf we're pretty isolated from the remaining work.

As work moves on through the year the direct impact will be less, but noise and dust can be anticipated in other areas of the complex during working hours of 8-5 M-F (great time to schedule enjoying seeing the island). Work will rotate through the Parking Areas starting around the end of September through June of 2027. The prices on the Calendar have been discounted from 50% to 10% from regular rates based on the amount of impact to our renters anticipated.
