We chose this property primarily for the pool, but unfortunately it was not heated for part of our stay due to a broken pump. A repairman did come out, but he was unable to complete the repair because he hadn’t received approval from property management. He was not sent back until after I contacted the hosts and requested a discount, since the pool was a major reason we booked the property.Additionally, the pool’s water level was low, which prevented pollen and bugs from properly flowing into the drains. We tried to clean it ourselves, but it was difficult to fully clear. There was also a pool-cleaning vacuum on site, but it was not installed and appeared to be set aside, so it wasn’t usable. We still ended up swimming, but it wasn’t the clean, stress-free pool experience we were expecting for a vacation.The location itself was great, which we appreciated. However, the interior of the home felt somewhat worn and a bit patchwork in places. It was acceptable for a vacation rental, but given the price, we expected a more polished and higher-quality overall experience.Overall, the stay was okay, but the pool issues during part of our stay and general condition made it feel overpriced for what was offered.
