Nice cozy forest condo

Condo was basic but clean, comfy, warm, and well-located. Property manager responded promptly when we needed help with check-in. Only note was that we could have used.a few more towels.

Screen door was locked , couldn’t open the entrance door . One tv in the bedroom with 2 beds wasn’t functioning because it was the wrong remote . Staff (Connie) was quick to respond to the issues though , which was a relief . Heater was in need of adjustment especially being that the weather was very cold .

Nice

Good spot for short stays. Check-in /out was quick and easy. Getting to our uncovered parking spot was no problem in our Subaru Crosstrek, but due to the massive amounts of snow the area has gotten this season, the path to our spot was a bit narrower than what's probably usual. Larger/longer vehicles may have trouble getting in and out of it. No complaints, would stay here again!

The location was good for us. Parking is very limited and tight. The condo is in dire need of paint and a little facelift. Make sure you read the list of amenities. There is no dish washer or laundry. The closets had a bunch of junk stored in them. BBQ worked great, kitchen wasn’t too bad. Check in was easy and it was ready early.

The property was in a quiet location with lots of trees. The parking spots for this condo were in an area with a very tight driveway, where you had to navigate pine trees to get into it. The unit itself was in a state of repair where drywall had been done on the wall, but not painted. It was a very comfortable unit and we had a great time. I think it was overpriced for the condition that it was in.

Great little property right next to a creek. Heater didn’t really work, but had a wood burning stove. Parking at #8 was challenging on the ice with a full size truck. Other than that, everything was great.

Better hope you don’t have an emergency

The hot water heater was out when we got there. It was 30-40 degrees outside. Called and left a message on the emergency phone and left a message via the app. I finally got a response at 9:00 am the next morning via email. This part of the experience overshadowed anything good I had to say.

Property is need of some upgrades. It looks like the owner is still remodeling the unit. There are holes in the walls, unpainted walls. The kitchen is missing a lot of items, such as service plates, baking dishes, foil, cellophane that you normally find in a VRBO. The unit handbook is 30 years old and has dated materials. Many items in the kitchen were unwashed as well as the BBQ had to be completely cleaned. There is no ventilation hood or dishwasher, making it impossible to cook without setting off the smoke alarm

Condo needs heaters

The property was decent and the location is great! The issue is that both upstairs space heaters do not work. It was freezing upstairs. The main downstairs heater sounds like it's on its last leg. Twice I thought it actually died and was on the phone to call when it started back up. There's a nice stack of wood on the porch for the wood burning fireplace but it is left uncovered and was therefore wet from the snow. We tried everything to get it to burn but could not get it started and ended up the whole place just smelled of smoke. There's no dishwasher or washing machine and dryer. The cabin had plenty of toilet paper and paper towels which was nice, but there were no clean, new sponges or anything to hand clean the dishes which was a problem since there's no dishwasher. Bring enough duplicates of snow wear because you won't be able to wash and dry any wet clothes. There were only 6 small, thin bath towels provided. That left our family with only one towel per person for the entire trip. We definitely needed more towels.

June lake

If you don't like the hustle of Mammoth you will love June Lake, it's beautiful and the locals are friendly and helpful. The best restaurants and gift shops!

BBQ almost unusable, bathtub slow to drain, all patio chairs broken, refrigerator should open other direction, only one teaspoon in silverware draw, drawer insert broken and dirty, no broom, no bedside lamp or dresser in 2nd bedroom, bedding on twin beds slippery and fell off bed everytime I turned, needs painted, Closets full of junk, no kleenex or paper towels, no sugar or cream for coffee, the chairs at kitchen table only fit if no people sitting on them. Plugs should have 4 prong extension outlets, not enough plugs for phones/computers.

Great location for Yosemite and Mono Lake

Our family stayed at June Lake for a July 4th trip to Tuolumne Meadows in the Eastern part of Yosemite. The condo was clean and comfortable. The area is quiet, and you have your own entrance from an exterior staircase. Check in and check out were easy, and the management was responsive to calls. The condo is close to June Lake, and the area was beautiful and safe. T-Mobile cell signal works for calls and text but not data, for those who need to know, but the condo's wifi worked well. We'd definitely stay here again.

All was really good.

All was really good. One exception. The last tenant left a porn site on the internet on the downstairs smart tv. I caught it and erased it before my kids may have accidentally seen it. My advice would be to have the cleaning crew or maintenance check all televisions and smart tv's to make sure the previous tenants searhes and web pages are erased before the new tenant arrives.
