'Good breakfast buffet!!!'

'The rooms look nice and newly renovated. They were also clean. But we had to change our room twice due to a mouldy smell. The fact that it's not possible to open the windows in many rooms makes this even worse. We would not go there again.'

'We used this as our base for 13 nights and it worked perfectly. The best thing about it is the washer-dryer in the room. On a trip this long that meant never hunting for a laundromat — we ran it three or four times without thinking about it, and came home with clean clothes instead of a suitcase full of laundry. Location is excellent. Higashi-Shinjuku station is about three minutes away on the Fukutoshin and Oedo lines, Shinjuku-sanchome is five, and Kabukicho, Golden Gai and Isetan are all...

'Fantastisch hotel, goede locatie echt een aanrader!'

'Perfect hotel'

'Real Nice rooftop onsen'

'Beautiful hotel, good restaurants, helpful staff, great location, the only minus in our eyes is that they are definitely not prepared for English speaking guests as good as other hotels in Tokyo, not many English speaking staff, mostly no signage in English, not even on the TV. '

'Loved it and would 100% stay there again.'

'An interesting hotel with free snacks, soft drinks and a range of alcohol available 24/7. Make sure you do a 'proper' search in Google Maps before attempting to find the hotel as there are 3 various Hotel Balian's in the area and we found ours on the 3rd attempt. Very helpful staff. Our no smoking room still smelled of smoke when we arrived but we got used to it.'

'We had a lovely time. We didn't want to leave. Hotel was in an excellent location close to many things. Everything was thought off and staff were very friendly despite not always being there. Just a phone call away. Such a cool place to stay. The lift goes straight up to our room and very spacious. Thank you'

'Perfect! Clean! Nice personeel! Close to station, shops and restaurants '
