Nearly 2 acres located on the West Shore of Lake Winnipeg, Our Mill Creek Cottage is the perfect hide-a-way from the grind.
The cottage is a 1br building with loft. The loft is open air and has 2 beds accessible by ladder. This cottage sleeps a maximum of 6 people who are out for a weekend get-away, hunting or fishing. The cottage has a wood burning stove and in-suite laundry.
The space
This cottage is available YEAR ROUND. The cottage property is designed as a private vacation rental. We just finished the screened outdoor living/dining room (12’ x 24’). There is no tv - time to unplug and truly relax! Wifi is available but the cell service is spotty even with our cell booster. Outdoor beach space is AMAZING. Hammock is strung up near the beach with 2 beach fire-pits. Inflatable toys available. Sand Beach with rocky walk-out, watershoes recommended for our immediate area beach. The soft silky sand beach is a short walk away.

Please Note, we are 45 km NORTH OF RIVERTON in the Mill Creek Beaches subdivision 5 min North of Beaver Creek Provincial Park. Please look closely at the map.

The entire cottage is accessible with the exception of any labelled cabinets that store our personal items.
The outdoor living/dining area is accessible as well as the entire beach area.
There is no "shared space" at this time. However, all crown land (all waterfront) is accessible to all individuals.

A downloadable PDF of our guidebook is available on our website at easylivingcompany . ca this is useful in providing directions to the location due to no cell service on HWY 234 on route to the cabin.

Other things to note
Make sure you pack enough groceries, the nearest grocery store is a 45 minute drive to Riverton.

We require an accurate headcount due to the scheduling of pumping the septic tank. Please be clear with how many people are in your booking.

I have heard some disappointing stories with rentals, born out of what I believe to be unclear expectations.
To be clear, the cottage is not a hotel, check-out instructions are provided with your onsite guidebook.
Please throw all used laundry in the laundry hamper.
We expect guests to return it in the condition you found it or better. Do not leave trash lying around outside, what you don’t burn, please dispose of properly, there are wildlife around and we must be conscientious.

Please be kind to the septic tank. And don’t be frivolous with the water.
